Sunday

Dear Choir:

This Sunday -- the end of daylight savings. (If you do forget to set
your alarm clock back an hour and get up at the same old time, just come
ahead to the church -- and you will get to be among the first ones there!)

But if you do get your clock set right, it would be great if everybody
could be in the choir loft by 8:45, since we have quite a bit to
rehearse: Kristen will be joining us with her oboe on the one anthem,
we have another one to rehearse, and there are a couple of hymns that we
need to go over.

Anyway, see you Sunday morning. We had a good rehearsal Wednesday
night; thanks to all.

Sunday morning

Dear Choir:

Looking forward to seeing you all Sunday morning at 8:30. It will be a
fun, rewarding, and uplifting service to have Grant joining us on this
special day.

Please just come directly to the choir loft by 8:30 -- there will be
time to put on robes after rehearsal, with still enough time to return
to the sanctuary to hear the prelude.

Many, many thanks for your patience and flexibility -- and for the
improv ending of "Fly Away Home!" The congregation will think we've
being doing this all our lives!

Wednesday night's rehearsal

Dear Choir:

'Midst all the things you have going on today, it would be great if you
could come to rehearsal tonight a bit earlier than usual. The K4C
worship service is at 7:15 and immediately thereafter we will be
rehearsing the "Get On Board" anthem with Grant West and the children.

If you are able to come for the service, perhaps you could just sit in
the choir loft; or please just come into the choir loft as soon as the
worship service is over.

There will be a slight modification of the seating on the Tenor/Bass
side of the choir loft to accommodate moving the grand piano a bit
closer to the choir than is usually the case, but I think it will be
clear where everybody is supposed to be sitting.

No Choir Sunday

Dear Choir:

Just a reminder that the choir is not singing this Sunday, since the
bell choir will provide music.

And another reminder: next Wednesday night will be especially special
-- Grant West will be rehearsing with us in preparation for next
Sunday's service!

And this early reminder: we will need to start rehearsal Wednesday
evening a bit earlier than usual, since the children will be available
immediately after the end of the Y4C worship service to rehearse "Get On
Board," so please plan to come at 7:15 Wednesday night. It will be a
fun and rewarding experience all the way.

Choir this Sunday

Dear Choir:

A reminder that we need to start rehearsal at 8:30 a.m. this Sunday,
because we have a lot of music to rehearse before the service. Everyone
will, of course, receive the usual amount of overtime pay for coming in
early.

Continuing thanks for all the great work and commitment of time -- it is
much appreciated. See you Sunday at 8:30.
