Dear Choir:
Just a reminder that there is no Wednesday-night rehearsal this week,
but we will be singing at the service on Sunday. I know that a number
of people will be out of town, so you are really needed -- usual time,
8:45 a.m.
Last Sunday's anthem was a joy for everybody -- fun to sing and
uplifting to listen to. Thanks to all.
Allan
P.S. Although there's no rehearsal Wednesday night, I know everyone will
want to vocalize for awhile, to make up for the night off. If everyone
starts at exactly 7:30, it should be audible around town.

Rehearsals, etc.
Dear Choir:
I am hoping that everybody can come to tomorrow night's rehearsal, which
will be our last choir rehearsal before the summer break. We will still
be singing for a couple of Sundays yet in May, so whether or not you
will need to miss one of the Sundays, I still hope you can come. It
will most likely be a shortened rehearsal (!I think I must be getting
soft), since I believe we can get through in a single rehearsal
everything we need to practice for those upcoming worship services.
Also, the piccolo player will be there tomorrow night to rehearse "Come
to the Music" with us -- we just omitted that part when we sang it at
the Presbytery meeting -- and it should be even more fun with the added
instrument. So even if you won't be available for one or more of the
Sunday services, join us anyway for the pleasure of singing the piece.
Finally, I also would like to get some idea of your availability for a
couple of pick-up Sundays this summer.
So, hope to see you then.
Thanks for all you do.
Sincerely,
Allan

No Choir Rehearsal Tonight
Dear Choir:
Wow, "Come to the Music" really went zipping along last night! I think
everybody enjoyed it -- I know I did.
Just to make sure everybody gets the word, here's a reminder that there
will be no choir rehearsal this evening. Sunday is the Bells
Extravaganza, so we won't be singing. But there will be rehearsal next
Wednesday night, for the final Sundays we sing before the summer hiatus.
Thanks again for last night, and for all the nights and days of music
you contribute.
Sincerely,
Allan

Tuesday--Presbytery Meeting
Dear Choir:
Here is a reminder of the schedule for tomorrow and the Presbytery meeting:
The worship service is supposed to start a little after 7:30, so
please be at the church by 7:00 p.m., put on your robe and meet
upstairs in the Children's Choir rehearsal room (at the end of
the hall opposite the nursery), where we will practice
the anthem.
We will be singing only "Come to the Music."
Cader has warned me that the Presbytery meetings do not always
follow the announced schedule, and that things sometimes
run longer than planned, so it is not absolutely certain that
the worship service will start promptly.
Please go with the flow.
Thanks to all.
