Choir News, etc.

Dear Choir:

As the beginning of the new choir year approaches, I wanted to be in
touch to remind everyone about the anthem that we are adding to our
choir library in memory of Nick White. (I would stress again that this
is not a commissioned piece, in which we would arrange with a composer
to write a new piece, but simply a meaningful way to honor Nick by
designating one of our anthems as purchased in his memory.)

If you wish to contribute $5 - $10 to this project please give the money
to Deb in the office and designate it for the Nick White anthem. I
talked with Bill earlier in the summer about the specific piece, and we
would plan to sing it sometime soon this fall.

P.S. I will be in touch again about the start of choir rehearsals and
other news, but let's plan to have our first rehearsal on Wednesday
night, September 9th, and we will sing at the worship service on the 13th.
