Dear Choir:
Tomorrow night is a really important rehearsal and I hope everyone will
be able to be there. It will be our last rehearsal on the Advent
cantata before Rob McManus joins us on the first Wednesday in December.
(Wednesday night next week is, of course, the Thanksgiving Eve service,
so we will not have a chance to rehearse any of the cantata that night;
thus, tomorrow night is our last chance.) We also will want to spend
time on "For the Beauty of the Earth," which we will be singing
Thanksgiving Eve as well as on the Sunday after Thanksgiving.
In planning for tomorrow night's rehearsal, I hope we can include the
soloists' passages. Also, I will hand out the reading assignments to
those who indicated interest, at last Wednesday night's rehearsal, in
being one of the readers.
Thanks for all your hard work on all this nice music. See you tomorrow
night.
Sincerely,
Allan
