Bringing Leonardo to life World premiere for chorus and orchestra The world premiere of Jocelyn Hagen's The Notebooks of Leonardo da Vinci is little more than a week away. Singers from the Minnesota Chorale and instrumentalists from the Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra have been rehearsing for weeks to bring this gorgeous music alive. Video projections of images and text drawn from Leonardo's notebooks will be projected above us during the concerts, all synchronized perfectly with the music, thanks to a newly-invented system that enables a video operator to follow the conductor, just as we musicians do. Click here for a brief excerpt of the video We hope to see you at either of the two concerts (details below), which are presented at no charge to audiences, removing the barrier of expense that would prevent people from experiencing this thrilling new work. To keep the concerts free, we're raising funds from friends like you who have supported our work in the past. Every gift matters, no matter how large or small. Just click this link and help us bring this project to life. Thank you!
