Re: Help needed

I am so sorry to miss this. Rebecca and I have our first River City Chorale "performances" as part of worship at St. Andrews that morning. Have a wonderful time. I'll listen after on FB live.

And - shameless plug - please come hear us sing at Trinity on Monday, July 23 at 7:00 pm. You can purchase tickets at the door.

They will sing several times during the service and are scheduled to talk during the education hour afterwards about their work in South Africa. It promises to be a very exciting day, and we are hoping that many of you, along with other congregational members, will be able to attend this service and the ensuing discussion.

In some preliminary planning it seemed that the best approach would be to serve soup (from Costco -- often used for the Lenten luncheons at the church and on other occasions), plus fruit and veggies and dessert.

By the way, 29:11 is also performing this weekend as part of the Minnesota Orchestra's "Music for Mandela" concerts and events: the Friday night orchestra concert is now completely sold out, apparently (Laura was able to snare some of the last few remaining tickets!), but they are performing for free at 3:00 Saturday afternoon at Orchestra Hall during the Orchestra's International Day of Music events.
